So...I've Got an Ego Fetish
Guys! I’m finally back, I know its been a while but with school and everything I have been super busy. After getting a good idea of my work load, I was able to come up with a writing schedule which will definitely help me to post on a more regular basis. So you will be seeing from me more often I promise!
So now that I have cleared that up let’s talk about a recent purchase I have made with Ego. Ego is an online trend savvy footwear brand. They bring fashion forward shoes to “fierce ladies” at affordable prices. Now, I’ve been following Ego for a while and always loved their shoes and blog, which is great for style inspiration. But, I never actually took it upon myself to make a purchase; I always wanted to but it was something that was consistently pushed to the side.
As the seasons have started to change I realized that my closet was filled with sandals and flip flops which won't help me in the colder months. So I decided to go to Ego to look for a functional yet trendy pair of shoes to add to my collection. Just scrolling through the website I couldn't pick one pair, I just loved everything! All of the shoes were just so cute, affordable, and eligible for an additional discount. The student discount of 30% was what really pulled me in and convinced me to make a purchase with Ego.
After about a week of adding items to my wish list and deliberating on which shoes to get, I ended up getting the Anushka Knit Ankle Boot with Wooden Heel in Khaki. I completely love the ankle boot and the way they look on my feet. I’ve been wanting to start wearing heels and booties on a regular basis and the Anushka boot is a great start for me. The heel is a wearable height and the color isn’t too bright or overwhelming for me.
After trying on the boots I noticed that they actually are more comfortable then I expected and they’re easy to walk around in. Another great thing about these boots is that the fabric actually hugs my leg. Being 5’1 and just over 100lbs, it can be hard to find shoes that actually fit around my ankle and calf, so I usually stray away from buying thigh high boots and shoes that are supposed to be snug around the leg. But the Anushka Knit Ankle Boot has certainly led me to think differently and that was a huge plus for me.
But overall I am extremely happy with my purchase from Ego and I certainly will be buying from them again in the very near future!
